As an Accounting Analyst within the Management Information Systems group, you will work closely with the parts mangers to review and resolve a variety of inventory questions and situations. You will play a critical role providing support internally answering system tickets from users in a strong, growing company. This position will report directly to the MIS Manager and have accounts to oversee. You will provide reports, procedure guidelines, and general assistance to those users. Additionally, you will complete monthly Accounting responsibilities, reconciling accrual and inventory accounts.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s level degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of practical accounting experience.
  • Proficient computer skills or the aptitude and willingness to learn how to use a computer and software.
  • Regular and prompt attendance.
  • Core value of integrity and a high energy level with a passion for the job.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft-based programs with emphasis on Excel and Power BI.
  • Experience with data mining software such as Crystal, Power BI, Access, and SQL experience are a definite plus.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible.
  • Present a professional image in personal appearance, dress, and preparation.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the position.
    WORKING CONDITIONS: Hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime may be required. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.
Responsibilities
  • Thoroughly learn all aspects of the business system.
  • Support business system and business system users company wide.
  • Regularly audit internal billings and work with users on corrections.
  • Work closely with parts managers to resolve parts variances and inventory issues.
  • Complete monthly journal entries related to variances and inventory activity.
  • Reconcile inventory accounts.
  • Prepare monthly reports for distribution.
  • Provide backup support to MIS personnel and the MIS Manager.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Work Rules.
  • Other duties as assigned.
