We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our Finance team. Working closely with our Accounting team, you will take a hands-on approach to strengthening our expense accounting, accounts payable, and payroll-related processes. This position is ideal for someone with experience in accounts payable and a strong understanding of payroll and benefits administration. If you enjoy managing processes from start to finish, reviewing work for accuracy, and working across teams to enhance both financial results and the employee experience, we’d love to meet you! What you’ll be responsible for: Accounts Payable Oversight: Review transactional AP Processing, ensuring invoices, credit card transactions and expense reports are recorded accurately and on time. Provide coaching and feedback to team members to promote quality and consistency. Month-End Close: Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing and posting expense-related entries (prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, fixed assets, etc.). Cash Management: Prepare weekly payment batches and review cash forecast files to ensure accuracy and reliability. Payroll & Benefits Support: Support our Payroll Specialist with in-house and EOR payroll for European employees. Coordinate benefits implementation and management for European employees. Act as a liaison between payroll providers and employees for payroll- and benefits-related questions. Employee Experience & Documentation: Guide employees through payroll and benefits processes and platforms. Develop and maintain Guru cards and supporting documentation to clarify payroll and benefits workflows. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree or DEC in Accounting or a related field. 2+ years of experience in an accounting role, with exposure to accounts payable. Experience with payroll and benefits administration is an asset. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (FinancialForce / Certinia) is an asset. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Full professional fluency in English (you can clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders). Proficiency in French is an asset. Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. What we offer: Dynamic and collaborative work environment.
