Assist in the preparation of weekly forecasts, monthly financial statements and reporting requirements, and other quarterly and annual financial reports.
Review and analyze financial statement trends and variances against budget, forecast, and prior year and provide adequate explanations to substantiate.
Perform addition/disposition of fixed assets and maintain the ledger.
Reconcile cash system transactions to bank transactions on a daily basis.
Complete balance sheet account reconciliations monthly: bank, fixed assets, prepaids, accrued payables, analyze underlying balances, and investigate discrepancies identified in the period.
Review and approve invoices in the financial accounting system. Coordinate with the accounts payable team to resolve any discrepancies.
Prepare journal entries and document with appropriate support.
Maintain accounting controls by following policies and procedures in place and complying with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements.
Perform duties with diligence and accuracy, while adhering to timelines.
Perform ad hoc tasks and analysis as requested by management.
