QUALIFICATIONS

• Member in good standing as a CPA or equivalent
• 3 plus years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm with a minimum of 2 years experience in auditing
• Expertise in personal and corporate tax planning preparation
• Strong financial accounting skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills including coaching and mentorship is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Solid knowledge and understanding of full cycle accounting, financial statements, budgeting/forecasting, year-end functions
• Proficiency with common accounting software packages.
• Proficiency in Caseware, Tax Prep, Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to analyze and define business problems, to identify operational or process solutions
• Ability to organize time and juggle multiple urgent priorities
• Ability to adapt to change and the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team
• Exceptional interpersonal skills combined with a positive can-do attitude with a focus on client service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent documentation skills
• Passion for process and continuous improvement to support various projects and initiatives
• Proficiency in taxes and experience preparing and filing corporate and personal tax returns is required

As an Accountant and Auditor you are both driven and knowledgeable and possess exceptional communication skills and a thorough understanding of all areas of accounting and auditing and the ability to provide expert advice to our clients. In addition, you will build relationships and develop rapport with clients, lead delivery of accounting services and go beyond standard accounting services.
