Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Accounting Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in accounting and finance operations and exposure to real-world financial processes. Requirements Requirements & Essential Functions: Assist with data entry, account reconciliations, and maintaining financial records Support accounts payable and receivable processes Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets Collaborate with team members on special projects and process improvements Conduct research and analysis on accounting issues Assist with preparation of prior year documentation for storage Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong interpersonal skills; can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; create and build positive and productive relationships. Responds quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives; learns from past mistakes and adjusts accordingly. Ability to manage appropriate steps to get projects completed; has strong abilities to organize people and processes; can create a plan for resourceful workflow. Required Qualifications: Enrolled as a full-time student toward a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
