Description

As one of the world’s largest networks of audit, tax and consulting firms, RSM delivers big ideas and premium service to help middle-market businesses thrive. We are a fast-growing firm with big ambitions - we have a clear goal to become the premium adviser to the middle market, globally. This vision touches everything we do, motivating and inspiring us to become better every day. If you are looking for a firm where you can build a future and make an impact, then RSM is the place for you.

MAKE AN IMPACT AT RSM UK

Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.
At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.
We are looking for an Associate Director to join our Leeds office, who is passionate about developing business with new clients and has experience of coaching and developing teams. Our client base has a mixture of entities from large corporate, owner managed businesses with a client size varying from corporates on 24-month runway towards auditing large international groups, including some listed clients.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Leading the delivery of accounting and financial reporting services on a portfolio of clients, whilst working alongside other service lines and reporting to the Client Relationship Partners on matters of additional advisory and client care
  • Actively participating in business development, working with the Partner Group on business plans and participating in targeting and lead generation
  • Managing the working capital of projects, including budgeting, cost management, billing and debt recoverability
  • Resource planning, briefing team members and coaching and developing teams to present a premium client experience

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We value diverse experiences and perspectives. Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:

  • Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
  • Complex UK GAAP reporting including group reorganisations and consolidations
  • Experience of manging a portfolio of client work within a professional practice
  • Experience as a Line Manager with advanced coaching and development skills
  • Proven ability to quickly build rapport with client principals and colleagues.
