What the role will entail Financial & Management Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Trial Balance, Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Management Reports while ensuring compliance with PFRS and internal deadlines. Regulatory Compliance & Taxation: Ensure timely submission of statutory reports (IC, SEC, BIR) and tax filings (withholding, VAT, FBT, ITR), assist in internal and external audits, and maintain adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. People & Team Management: Supervise accounting staff, collaborate with other departments to deliver insightful financial reports, and support ongoing development through training and skills enhancement. Risk Management & Controls: Support the Finance Head in managing accounts payable, aging of collections, premium remittances, and tax risk, while ensuring accurate reconciliation and reporting to minimize financial exposure. Process & Performance Excellence: Maintain high-quality, timely work output across financial operations, achieve audit readiness with minimal adjustments, and continuously improve accounting practices and reporting systems.
