Description The Accounting and Administration position is to help aid in all office related tasks. With the main empathize on bookkeeping, other office responsibilities include but not limited to emails, reservations, and inventory. This is an entry level position, and the candidate will be properly trained on all office systems. This candidate needs to take initiative and tackle any task at hand, while always demonstrating a positive attitude. Key Job Responsibilities: Entering data accurately utilizing Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Quickbooks and other company software Documenting transaction details and pulling financial reports Fact checking accounting data and notifying management of accounting errors Maintain paperwork and records by filing appropriately Communicate directly with colleagues and/or customers to accomplish a task Actively reading and professionally responding to all emails Providing organizational assistance with coordinating reservations and events Receive and properly store shipments, record inventory, and prepare outgoing materials Track inventory levels and order branded gear to replenish supply Organize, store and monitor the distribution of goods to ensure items and resources are shipped to their appropriate destinations Manage workflow to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately Other duties as assigned Requirements Key Behavioral Competencies: Demonstrate ability to improve office structure and alleviate the work load Exhibit a professional demeanor in appearance and speech Have the ability to accept ownership of work and accountability for results Take initiative in finding tasks and constructing more efficient procedures Effectively converse with customers, especially in regard to resolving a complaint Demonstrate exceptional organization skills and an eye for detail Education and Work History: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business or related field preferred. Ideal candidate will possess: Four year Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred. 3-5 years of related experience in management, customer relations, and/or bookkeeping Experience in operating Mac products and software Proficiency in Microsoft products Excellent written and oral communication skills Exceptional organizational and planning skills Warehouse/distribution experience is a plus
