Our company requires a professional, positive person to fill the role of Bookkeeper / Office Administrator on our team.The ideal candidate will have several years experience in a busy office environment and assisting all levels of staff. Position Overview:

  • Full-circle bookkeeping including process accounts receivable/payable and payroll.
  • Proper reconciliation of accounts
  • Data entry
  • Creating Invoices
  • Review of trial balance and financial statements
  • GST filing
  • Payroll remittance
  • T-4s
  • WCB papers
  • Payroll and associated tasks.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Prepare job cost reports and export data for use in spreadsheets.
  • Office assistant duties would include making and answering multi-line phone system and other related assigned office duties.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Minimum 1 year experience of QUICKBOOKS ONLINE.
  • Proven bookkeeping including payroll experience.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/ receivable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
  • Customer service orientation
  • The ability to fluently communicate in English, both in writing and orally is critical to operations.
    The position requires a high degree of organizational skills. Applicants must have strong proficiency in QuickBooks online and MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.Wage is commensurate with experience.Job Type: Full-time Job Location:Nisku, AB.
