Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting and Operations Officer to join our dynamic Fintech team. The successful candidate will support the CEO with accounting tasks and manage the day-to-day operations of the office. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in the Fintech industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or office management, preferably within the Fintech industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Fintech-specific tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of HR practices and procedures is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital payments, digital banking, and cryptocurrency is highly desirable.
- French language is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and MI reports to the executives board.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including handling digital payments and cryptocurrency transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced Fintech environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Support the external accounting firm annual returns and companies house filings
- Engaged with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tailored.
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organized and efficient office environment.
- Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, including managing tech infrastructure.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the shareholders and management team.
- Assist with HR tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Fintech industry regulations.
