JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting and Operations Officer to join our dynamic Fintech team. The successful candidate will support the CEO with accounting tasks and manage the day-to-day operations of the office. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a keen interest in the Fintech industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or office management, preferably within the Fintech industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Fintech-specific tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and procedures is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital payments, digital banking, and cryptocurrency is highly desirable.
  • French language is a must.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and MI reports to the executives board.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including handling digital payments and cryptocurrency transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced Fintech environment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Support the external accounting firm annual returns and companies house filings
  • Engaged with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis tailored.
  • Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-organized and efficient office environment.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and repairs, including managing tech infrastructure.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the shareholders and management team.
  • Assist with HR tasks, including onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and Fintech industry regulations.
