Description
PURPOSE: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly capable finance professional with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in accounting operations, demonstrate strong analytical skills, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, or an MBA with an accounting background. 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience. QuickBooks Online (QBO) certification is a strong plus. Preference will be given to candidates from LUMS or other top-tier universities with a strong CGPA. Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Accounting Operations: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. Audit & Documentation: Maintain proper documentation and ensure ongoing audit readiness. Systems & Process Optimization: Use accounting systems and tools efficiently to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial analysis and informed decision-making.
