QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor degree or above in accounting, finance, economics, business administration and other related majors.- At least 3–5 years of relevant work experience, within the payments or fintech industry.- Experience working in a Big Four accounting firm and within the finance function of a fintech/payments company.- Possess a solid understanding of seller finance, Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL), and other credit-related business models, with in-depth knowledge of accounting treatments applicable to such credit products.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.Preferred qualifications:- Professional accounting certification such as CICPA, ACCA, AICPA, or HKICPA is highly preferred.- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.- Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools is a plus.

Team Introduction:In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payment Finance team builds a world class platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance’s products and services, which are growing rapidly worldwide. We are currently seeking an Accounting and Reporting Analyst to join our Singapore-based global payments finance team.Responsibilities:- Perform monthly closing procedures, complete rationality analysis, and prepare accurate and timely financial reporting packages.- Support the manager in overseeing monthly financial reporting deliverables to the various stakeholders in Southeast Asia, Europe, LATAM, etc., including the tax and transfer pricing teams.- Demonstrate familiarity with financial internal control frameworks; with experience in system construction and optimization. Assist the manager in identifying areas for process optimisation and performance of quality reviews to ensure adherence to defined policies and procedures.- Manage relationships with external auditors, including directing and participating in the preparation of all the working papers for the audit on a timely basis including all memos for any relevant areas.- Familiar with the regulatory reporting requirements of licensed entities in the payment industry, and carry out financial-related regulatory reporting work in accordance with regulatory requirements and ensure data quality.
