JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for accounts receivable functions including processing of daily sales transaction, payments and member billing.
Must be customer service oriented and have a strong attention for detail and accuracy.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is a plus
  • Previous Jonas software experience a plus!
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented.
  • Must have effective time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with employees and members is a must.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word and Excel).
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A strong customer service background in necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Reconciles daily sales transactions from all departments and updates to member statements
  • Prepares daily deposits and accurately posts to member accounts
  • Posts payments received through various electronic payments files
  • Codes and processes manual tickets for all non-POS transactions
  • Reviews banquet billings to ensure proper postings to member accounts
  • Maintains UBI master spreadsheet on a monthly basis
  • Reconciles other club bills and communicate with account dept from other clubs as necessary on member’s behalf
  • Assists members with resolutions to all billing inquiries
  • Prepare and process all manual adjustments.
  • Work with CFO and Department Managers as necessary to improve billing accuracy
  • Updates member mailing addresses and contact information
  • Provides assistance as needed for members accessing website and online payment system
  • Assists with preparation of monthly member statements as directed by CFO
  • Maintains delinquent list and sends appropriate delinquent letter as necessary
  • Complete month end process for AR and send out all monthly statements
  • Assist with various reports in preparation for annual audit
  • Serves as receptionist for the business office as well as back up for main club receptionist as needed
  • Assists Membership Director with administrative responsibilities as needed
  • Assist with special projects as needed by CFO or Membership Director
