Description

Atlas Industrial Contractors is seeking a highly experienced and professional Accounting Assistant to join our team. This role provides administrative and clerical support to the accounting department (accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll). The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial data and handle basic bookkeeping duties with Foundation Software. This is an in-person role.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable: Enter purchase orders, enter invoices, assist with weekly check run, assist with vendor statement research and follow-up.
  • Accounts Receivable: Enter new jobs, process lien waivers, and assist with customer past due collections.
  • Payroll: Enter new hires, import hourly and salary payroll timecards, submit certified payroll, union reporting/payments, process child support and garnishments.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associates degree in Accounting preferred, or High School diploma with accounting experience
  • Accounting Software – Knowledge of Foundation helpful
  • Microsoft Office experience, with emphasis on Excel
  • Strong Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills
