LOCATION: KERRVILLE, TX

C & M Concrete is a family-owned and operated business since 1978, specializing in the production of precast concrete products such as water storage tanks, septic tanks, burial vaults, and privacy walls. We also engage in on-site concrete construction, primarily for commercial projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Assistant to support our Office Manager by performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and customers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable: Maintain accurate vendor accounts, match bills with the proper Purchase Order and enter into QuickBooks, reconcile bills to ensure appropriate pricing and discounts are applied, and pay bills according to their payment terms to allow for payment discounts.
  • Accounts Receivable: Produce invoices for products sold daily, accept and post payments to customer accounts, answer customer questions regarding invoices and statements, and call past due customers to request payment.
  • Payroll & Human Resources: Provide backup to the Office Manager by producing weekly payroll for 70+ employees, completing certified payroll if required, and conducting new hire orientation if the Office Manager is unavailable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the office operations.
