Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Job Summary:
The Accounting Assistant supports the accounting department by performing clerical and administrative tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and good organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and ledger maintenance.
* Record and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
* Maintain updated financial records in the accounting system.
* Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets.
* Process petty cash and employee expense reimbursements.
* Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial transactions.
* Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment status.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
* Comply with company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
* At least 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP).
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Work Conditions:
* Office-based role; may require occasional overtime during reporting periods.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
