Full job description

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to join our small, chartered accounting firm in Bowral.

Duties include:

• Greeting clients.
• Answering telephone and email enquiries, making appointments, and providing basic information about services and fees.
• Setting up clients in our software system and downloading information from the ATO so it is ready for our tax specialists to meet with the client to prepare their return.
• Collecting payments from clients, issuing receipts, and banking duties as required.
• Following up with clients on outstanding documents needed so we can complete their tax return.
• Document scanning and filing.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
