You will be willing to take the time to learn how to optimize work and its flow within an efficient and productive manner. *NOTE: This is NOT a remote position. The applicant must be able to work from our Puebla, Mexico office. Responsibilities: Manage the fixed asset ledger, including calculating and recording depreciation and amortization. Perform cost determination and analysis for relevant operational areas. Process and manage employee travel and expense reports (viáticos). Execute foreign currency valuation and record corresponding exchange rate adjustments. Prepare work papers and ensure compliance for the calculation and submission of the 3% payroll tax (Impuesto sobre Nómina). Audit and process employee timesheets. Assist with or manage payroll calculation, registration, and related journal entries. Execute monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records in the general ledger. Maintain and organize financial data and documentation. Reconcile daily cash and receipts at the end of the day. Generate and issue client invoices. Provide general administrative and accounting support to the broader accounting department. Requirements: Undergraduate or graduate in Accounting, Finance or other applicable degree(s). Experience working with the Mexican tax and social security platforms (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and IDSE). Intermediate Excel experience. Management of accounting software (ContPaq, NetSuite).
