Lupient Automotive Group is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our team! The Accounting Assistant supports the Accounting team in our month-end close process, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This position works closely with the accounting team, Corporate Controller, office managers, and the corporate leadership team to ensure timely and accurate financial statements. If you're detail-oriented, Excel-savvy, and ready to take the next step in your accounting career, we want to hear from you! The Details: * Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (some flexibility available) * Office-based role * $21–$25/hour, based on experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Prepare and review monthly financial statements for multiple dealership locations * Reconcile general ledger accounts including cash, inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable * Record and review monthly journal entries, accruals, and intercompany activity * Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes * Analyze account variances and trends to support accurate reporting * Collaborate with dealership teams to resolve accounting issues * Assist in process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures * Support audits, tax filings, and compliance initiatives WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * 2–3 years of progressive accounting experience * Automotive dealership or multi-entity experience is a plus * Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis) * Familiarity with CDK Drive or other dealership management systems is a plus * Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines * Strong communication and collaboration skills BENEFITS: * Paid time off and paid holidays – enjoy time for YOU * Health, Dental and Vision insurance – stay healthy and happy! * Company paid life insurance – protect your loved ones * Accident and critical illness insurance – for those “just in case” times * 401(k) – invest in your future * Tuition reimbursement – we support employee growth * Career advancement opportunities – we promote from within * Pet insurance – we care about our furry friends, too! * Employee and family discounts on products and services – who doesn’t love savings! * And much, much more!
