About us   We are a growing property management company, with 40 years of service, overseeing state-of-the-art and luxury residential buildings across the Boston metro area. We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team. In this role, you'll provide administrative support to the accounting department while assisting with data entry, invoice processing, financial recordkeeping, and vendor management. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and enjoys supporting daily accounting operations in a professional office environment. RESPONSIBILITIES * Process daily check requests and online utility payments * Perform accurate data entry and maintain accounting records * Prepare and mail checks and condominium invoices * Track and update vendor Certificates of Insurance (COIs) * Upload financial statements and paid invoices into Rent Café * Scan, organize, and maintain financial documents and receipts * Research and resolve accounting discrepancies * Coordinate courier services and assist with general office administration * Provide administrative and accounting support for additional projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS * Hours will be Monday through Friday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm (35 hours per week) * Hourly pay range between $23-25 commensurate with experience  * 1+ year of experience in an Accounting Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Accounting Clerk, or office support role * High school diploma or GED required; college coursework is a plus * Experience using Microsoft Excel  * Strong organizational, data entry, and computer skills * Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities * Strong communication and problem-solving skills * Reliable, professional, and able to work independently and as part of a team WORK ENVIRONMENT * Professional office environment * Regular use of computers, scanners, and other office equipment * Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds
