Description

As an Accounting Assistant, you will be an essential part of the accounting department, supporting our team with day-to-day financial tasks. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3-4 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining and updating financial records, including accounts payable, and general ledger entries.
  • Process invoices and payments accurately and promptly.
  • Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support in the preparation of financial reports and data analysis as needed.
  • Maintain filing systems for financial documents and records.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding billing and payment inquiries.
  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
