Description

Pittsburgh area real estate management group is in need of an Accounting support candidate.

Duties will include:

  • Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Accurately record financial transactions in the general ledger.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and subsidiary ledgers.
  • Assist with the processes required to close the books for each accounting period.
  • Analyze financial information, identify variances, and report on them.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Work with other departments to address accounting issues and questions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of like experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to analyze financial data and identify potential issues
  • Capacity to resolve accounting discrepancies and errors
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly and concisely to accounting staff, board members and CPA’s
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ability to learn new as needed
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
