ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is a law firm located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. They provide expert advice in Motor Vehicle Accidents, Personal Injury, Strata Law, Disability Insurance, Estate Claims, Wills and Estate Planning, Employment, and Family Law. They are currently looking for a dedicated Accounting/Administrative Assistant to join their team on a part-time temporary to permanent basis to work 20 to 24 hours a week. Hourly wage up to $32 ( Depending on the experience)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting support preferred.
  • Familiarity with PCLaw, Clio, QuickBooks Online, and LEAP is an asset, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry tasks related to bookkeeping and administrative functions.
  • Handle accounts payable and simple billing tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly support, with additional hours required for coverage during vacations or sick leave.
  • Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Support the primary bookkeeper as needed and provide backup when required.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and maintain the confidentiality of financial data.
  • Other duties as assigned
