How you'll help us achieve it We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join us on a four-month fixed-term replacement contract. The role will involve performing daily accounting tasks and supporting the Financial Controller in the monthly preparation of Wave Transfer Mali’s local statutory financial statements, as well as reporting to the Wave Mobile Money Group. In this role, you’ll; Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies. Create and update expense reports. Process reimbursement forms. Prepare bank deposits and month-end reconciliations. Maintain digital and physical financial records. Issue invoices to customers and external partners as needed. Review and file payroll documents. Participate in annual audits and month-end reconciliations of Wave’s balance sheet accounts including: financial analysis and periodic budget processes and updates. Key details Location: You'll be based in Bamako Work authorization in Mali is required. This is a 4-month fixed-term position. Our salaries are competitive and calculated using a transparent formula. Requirements Proficiency in French and a good level of English (nice to have). At least one year of experience in a similar position (ideally in an international company).
