This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday - Friday 11 AM - 3 PM Bloomfield, NJ - Eastern time 4 hours/day, 20 hours/week About the Role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with data entry, reconciliation, and invoice processing tasks. This is a part-time position ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy in financial records. Key Responsibilities: Perform data entry for invoices and accounts payable with accuracy and timeliness Cross-check and validate data across various systems and documents Reconcile accounts regularly, including bank statements, credit cards, and payables Process invoices by matching vendors, verifying amounts and addresses, and ensuring timely posting Support special projects, including data reconciliation and schedule tie-outs Assist with general accounting tasks as assigned Requirements: Experience or educational background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) is a plus Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good communication skills and a proactive attitude Independent Contractor Perks Permanent work-from-home Immediate hiring ZR_28900_JOB
