Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Accounting Associate to join our GLBL BusSvcs Tax -Global Finance Services Division. Looking for a proactive and detail oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in Direct Taxation. The role involves supporting end to end direct tax compliance, tax audits, assessments, and transfer pricing activities, while ensuring timely and accurate adherence to statutory requirements. The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, Whitefield location-KA, India What you will do Assist in the preparation and filing of Corporate Income Tax returns, TDS returns, and other statutory direct tax filings. Support the execution of tax audits, tax assessments, and transfer pricing documentation. Analyse financial data to ensure accuracy in tax reporting and compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act. Maintain comprehensive documentation and records for tax filings, audits, and assessments. Coordinate with internal teams such as Finance, Accounts Payable, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant tax operations. What You Have: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1–2 years of relevant experience in Direct Taxation. Strong understanding of Income Tax, TDS, and Transfer Pricing regulations. Solid analytical and problem solving capabilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Self driven, organized, and able to work both independently and in team environments. This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office. Skills desired: Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. Level Working Knowledge: • Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights. • Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. • Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy. • Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned. • Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free. Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
