What the role will entail: Ensure the banks strict compliance with consumer lending financial reporting standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal policies. Oversee the accurate booking of consumer lending transactions to prevent financial misstatements and maintain data integrity. Manage the timely reconciliation of temporary accounts and ensure the swift escalation and disposition of aging float items. Mitigate financial risks by maintaining reliable reporting frameworks that align with accounting standards and service level agreements. Collaborate with business and operations counterparts to streamline reporting workflows and resolve outstanding account discrepancies. Proactively address and minimize audit findings by upholding rigorous adherence to regulatory policies and procedural manuals. Develop and maintain robust control processes to safeguard against unreliable financial documentation and operational risks. What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Banking, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience specifically within the banking industry. Proficiency in general, treasury, and consumer loans accounting, with specialized experience in credit card and personal loan processing. Strong background in tax reporting, auditing, and comprehensive financial management practices.
