Accounting Associate (Full-Time)Pay & Schedule Pay Range: $21.00–$25.00/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible scheduling, 8-hour workdays Location: Springfield, MO About the Role As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing routine transactions, and providing insight to management on process improvement opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-driven, dependable and comfortable working with numbers and deadlines. What You Will Do Review, verify accuracy, and process overhead and shipping invoices daily Process cost allocation on outbound shipping expenses weekly Reconcile credit card transactions, research and resolve discrepancies Participate in month-end close processes including but not limited to account reconciliations Maintain documentation and records in accordance with record retention policy Communicate professionally with internal teams and external vendors Other accounting tasks as assigned What We Are Looking For Required: 3+ years experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and/or Bookkeeping Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines Experience with accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) Familiar with Excel (preferred experience: Pivot Tables, Macros, VLOOKUP) Basic understanding of GAAP (general ledger, debits/credits, accrual basis) Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or comparable experience Benefits & Perks Health, dental, and vision insurance Company-paid life insurance (and/or optional supplemental coverage) 401(k) retirement plan (company match if applicable) Disability insurance Vacation, sick Time (PTO) and paid holidays Employee discount on products Growth & development opportunities (training, cross-training, process improvement projects) Stable, team-oriented environment with clear expectations and support Work Location: In person
