Anna’s House is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Accounting Associate to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting the administrative needs of others, and is eager to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a crucial role in helping the Finance Department to manage various accounting functions. You will also assist in supporting the administrative needs of the entire Support Center team which includes Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations. EDUCATION

  • High school diploma required
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Marketing, or other related field is a plus

EXPERIENCE

  • At least one year of proven experience as an Accounting Associate or related position required

  • Strong understanding of accounting practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Finance team with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with preparation of financial statements, reports, recommendations
  • Enter data into accounting systems and reconcile bank statements
  • Review compliance documents and ensure laws and regulations are followed
  • Assist the Support Center team with various administrative tasks
  • Welcome visitors to the office
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Keep an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
  • Organize and maintain various office files
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
