The Accounting Associate supports manufacturing operations by maintaining accurate ERP data, assisting with cost management, and collaborating across departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. Functions include, but are not limited to: · Create and maintain part records for distribution and manufacturing items in Epicor Kinetic o Ensure proper part classifications, units of measure, and costing methods · Perform accurate data entry of Bills of Materials (BOMs) into the ERP system based on approved documentation from Engineering and Production · Assist with standard cost updates related to BOM changes · Update and maintain part pricing in Epicor Kinetic · Review supplier invoice price variances and tariffs · Analyze costs associated with outgoing customer shipments · Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and other departments to review, analyze, and resolve job cost discrepancies Requirements for the Ideal Candidate Include: · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred · 1-3 years of accounting, cost accounting, or ERP-related experience in manufacturing environment preferred · Experience working with ERP systems (Epicor Kinetic experience strongly preferred) · Strong understanding of standard costing, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and inventory transactions · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data analysis tools · Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and analysis · Ability to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues effectively · Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities · Effective written and verbal communication skills · Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment Expectations: GSGR strives to provide our employees with a rewarding and challenging work environment.
