We are seeking a meticulous and analytical Accounting Assistant – Supplier Rebates to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of supplier rebate programs, validating contractual terms, investigating discrepancies, and providing support to internal and external stakeholders. - Review and validate the terms and conditions of supplier rebate contracts.

- Verify rebate eligibility and ensure accurate recording of rebate amounts in the accounting system.

- Respond to rebate inquiries from sales representatives, customer service teams, and external clients.

- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in discount calculations.

- Ensure the accuracy of discount requests submitted to suppliers.

- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and process credits as needed.

- Maintain product codes to reflect program and pricing changes.

- Participate in general ledger account reconciliations and the preparation of supporting statements.

- Prepare journal entries and support accounting activities related to assigned accounts.

- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.

- Contribute to departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
