Description
The advertised position acts as -subject matter expert regarding Asset Accounting for Allianz Technology SE and forms part of the center of competence that interfaces to Allianz SE/H2-Group Accounting and Group Accounting Policy. Position located in Barcelona. You will Lead and oversee asset accounting activities, including the management, recording, and reporting of projects and fixed assets, depreciation, and disposal Ensure that relevant governance is enforced in the area of asset accounting as well as compliance with IFRS and HGB accounting standards Manage the monthly project capitalization process within the closing timeframe Conduct comprehensive analysis of the asset portfolio (tangible and intangible assets) for management reporting Manage small projects of optimization and automatization in order to be more efficient. Monitor internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize processes. Liaise with Controlling, Project Owners and Service Owners as subject matter expert for Asset Accounting Support management of external and internal audits related to Asset Accounting & intangibles Your skills University degree in finance, business administration, economics or comparable professional experience Accounting certification is a plus Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS as well as basic knowledge of tax law At least 3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an auditing firm or in the area of Accounting for a company reporting according to IFRS and HGB Past controlling experience is a plus Proficient in English, Team player, proactive and organized. Sound handling of SAP (e.g. FI, FI-AA, MM), further IT knowledge is an advantage Very good conceptual skills, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams and senior management.
