POSITION OVERVIEW:

Lambert Nemec Group is partnering with a respected and growing organization in their search for an Accounting Clerk - 1 year term . This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with a strong work ethic to contribute their expertise in accounts payable, payroll, and financial administration within a supportive team environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong foundation in accounts payable and payroll administration.
  • Experience with Payworks payroll system required.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems; experience with Spire considered an asset.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in-office on a full-time basis.
  • Reliable transportation required due to location.
Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, payment processing, reconciliations, and vendor inquiries.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly employees using Payworks, including journal entries and responding to payroll-related questions.
  • Support the Director of Finance with reporting, reconciliations, and period-end tasks.
  • Perform credit card reconciliations, daily bank postings, and general ledger allocations.
  • Provide backup coverage for accounts receivable during vacations and assist with special projects as required.
