JOB OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a talented Accounting Clerk to support multiple companies within our network. This individual will need to be a detail-oriented and an organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and a commitment to accuracy. This role is essential in supporting our accounting department and ensuring smooth financial operations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and general ledger accounting.
  • Experience in property management is a plus.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in an accounting role working in multiple different company’s sets books is advantageous.

    Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry tasks to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments to vendors.
  • Manage accounts receivable processes, tracking tenant monthly rent payments are made in full and on time.
  • Must be able to understand general ledger postings, entries, and reconciling.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities.
  • Receive, sort, record, and distribute mail as it arrives.
  • Deliver bank deposits to banking institution.
  • Ensure compliance with tenant/landlord regulations and laws.
  • Ensure internal controls are set and maintained.
  • Collaborate with other individuals to resolve discrepancies and provide support as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service both in person and over the phone.
