JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Accounts Payable Clerk works under the supervision of the Accounting Manager and will perform a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to accounts payable functions. Functions will include receiving vendor invoices and processing vendor payments, reconciling approved expenditures for the organization, and ensuring all expenses are paid in a timely manner. The Accounts Payable Clerk will submit invoices for approval to department heads as necessary. They will work closely with the purchasing department to resolve invoice and vendor problems.
