Accounting Clerk We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join our Expense Team on a temporary basis. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, focusing on invoicing, data entry, and reconciliation tasks using our proprietary accounting system. Responsibilities Process and enter invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Perform data entry and maintain financial records related to expenses. Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed. Utilize proprietary accounting software to manage and track transactions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and accurate reporting. Assist with general administrative and accounting support. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with invoicing and matching invoices. Strong data entry and accounting skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma minimum required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Work Environment The position is 100% onsite at the headquarters. Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break, totaling a 40-hour work week. There may be occasional overtime if business needs dictate. The office offers an onsite café for lunch and encourages employees to take on more responsibilities and grow within the role. Although listed as temporary, assignments rarely end once completed if the employee performs well. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schenectady, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
