QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2–3 years experience in Accounts Payable within the construction or related industry.
  • Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Working knowledge of accounting platforms (Acumatica).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and document management systems.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE & GENERAL ACCOUNTING

  • Reconcile vendor statements and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain organized digital and paper records of financial documents.
  • Assist with month-end close procedures, including AP accruals and journal entries.

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SPECIFIC DUTIES

  • Track subcontractor invoices and payment certificates against progress billing schedules.
  • Monitor project costs and ensure accurate job cost coding across multiple projects.
