Accounting Clerk Primary Job Functions: Performs routine accounting tasks and various clerical duties, to include posting vehicle sales, new and used vehicle purchases, service loaner transfers, reconciling sales recaps, processing payments, posting cash receipts, filing, scanning, reconciling various accounting schedules, general ledger postings, verifying financial reporting for vehicle sales data, and performs monthly reconciliations for closing. Assists in preparation and verifying vehicle licensing documentation, billings, payoffs, gas cards, accounting reconciliations, and quarterly/year-end reports.  Responds to co-workers, customers, and vendors to resolve a variety of problems.   Required Skills:  * Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and active listening * Understanding accounting procedures * Proficient Microsoft Office knowledge and skills * Strong time management and organizational skills * Typing/10-key skills - the ability to type quickly and log information accurately * Teamwork skills to work effectively and respectfully with others * Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed * Ability to focus and be detail oriented to avoid errors, verify accuracy, and produce consistent work * Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced working environment * Analytical skills to identify and troubleshoot problems for improved efficiency
