Boyer Auto Group is a Leader in the Automotive industry with over 14 locations in the Durham, Prince Edward County, Hastings, and Kawartha regions. We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our Pickering & Ajax dealership locations.
This role is critical to the operation of both our financial and administrative functions and is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting with daily bookkeeping and accounting entries (AP/AR).
  • Reconciling accounts and assisting with the month-end close.
  • Generating and organizing financial reports.
  • Maintaining filing systems for financial and administrative records.
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate paperwork.
  • Upholding confidentiality and accuracy across all administrative functions.
  • Providing general administrative support, including document preparation.
  • Deal processing; recording GL transaction, calculating gross, and commission.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Experience with purchase order systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced office.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented approach.
