JOB OVERVIEW

Discovery Hydrovac is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk with heavy experience in QuickBooks Online to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and experience in the construction industry. This role will oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions and assist with other administrative and accounting duties as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience with QuickBooks Online is required.
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with administrative paperwork is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, ensuring timely and accurate entries.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with month-end and year-end closings.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and managing transactions through QuickBooks Online.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as managing paperwork, organizing files, and other duties to support the team.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure financial data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare financial reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assist with financial queries and provide financial insights when needed.
