Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, collections and assist with financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive team environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Process customer invoices and collection of related receivables
  • Process vendor invoices for payment
  • Update and report borrowing base certificate daily to our banking partner
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Scan and doc type documents
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Assist with claims subrogation and carrier compliance
  • Assist operations team wherever necessary
  • Attend Accounting department meetings and assist with other accounting functions as needed.
  • Ability to achieve goals set forth by management.
  • Attend work consistently and punctually. Request time off per policies.
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Use time efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial principles

Education &/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 0-2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Combinations of education and experience may be considered at the discretion of management

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
