Description JOB SUMMARY: At Caesars Republic Scottsdale, a Hilton Hotel, we know that behind every exceptional guest experience is a strong and efficient back-of-house operation. As an Accounting Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of our hotel. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting tasks with precision, ensuring our financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections. Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and financial records to maintain accurate ledgers. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Handle daily cash deposits, manage petty cash, and ensure all transactions are documented properly. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and provide financial support as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel. WHAT YOU BRING: A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures. Experience with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
