Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a diligent and adaptable Accounting Clerk to contribute to our payment and receivable operations and support our accounting department with basic tasks. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is interested in expanding their accounting expertise while contributing to our office’s overall efficiency.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Verify, code, process, and pay invoices using AvidXchange and Sage Intacct.
  • Handle the full cycle of accounts payable activities including ensuring timely payments of invoices, maintaining accurate records and control reports.
  • Manage vendor relations and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Cash application of tenant payments.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures and support the accounting team with journal entries and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare analysis of accounts and bank reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assist with audit preparations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Offer administrative support to other departments, such as data entry, file management, and other ad hoc tasks.
