Kendall Toyota of Anchorage is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our busy Office Team. Starting pay is $21 per hour DOE. Full time Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Posting deal funding payments and financial reserves, making trade payoffs, issuing referral checks, activating aftermarket contracts. Processing wholesale transactions including re-assigning titles to the dealerships, posting auction sales, mailing titles to the auction, and coding payments from the auction. Processing street buys and issuing payments, processing trades between dealerships, daily deposits from sales, parts and service departments and preparing them for the bank. Processing DMV transactions, sending titles to lenders, delivering DMV paperwork to customers, posting rental contracts, and internal repair orders. Entering new vehicles into the accounting system; posting vehicle transactions into GL accounts upon vehicle arrival. Processing payments from AR customers and maintaining AR schedules, including collecting past-due payments from customers. Processing payments to vendors, reconciling monthly statements, maintaining vendor records including W-9 forms, aftermarket product cancellations, reconciling General Ledger accounts, communicating with customers, vendors, and other department managers. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Ability to carry and lift boxes up to 20 lbs.
Responsibilities
The Accounting Clerk will process car deals, bank funding paperwork, and various transactions related to vehicle sales and service. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accounts receivable schedules and vendor records.
