Description

LIFE AS AN ACCOUNTING CLERK:

  • Works closely with the Accounting Manager and General Manager to update the accounting systems with invoicing, payments, inventories, and budgets.
  • Efficiently manages accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and deposits. This may include making calls to new and outstanding accounts to keep the AR Aging in line with company procedures.
  • Organizes, secures, and maintains all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assists in responses to data request from Corporate Controllers to research vendor accounts, print financial reports and other ad-hoc assignments.
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Other Accounting administrative tasks as assigned.
