Position Summary The Accounting Clerk is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial documents on a weekly and monthly basis for multiple direct stores. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and timeliness in all accounting activities. This role is 100% on-site in London Key responsibilities * Generate invoices on a daily basis. * Record payments received in the accounting system. * Process cheque deposits using a digital scanner. * Match purchase orders to invoices and verify supporting documentation. * Maintain a digital library of documents for review, tax, and audit purposes. * Review bills for potential errors, discrepancies, or missing information. * Post and reconcile invoices and outgoing payments. * Maintain up-to-date vendor and client records, ensuring complete documentation. * Assist with month-end closing processes and financial reporting activities. * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor. Qualifications * Positive attitude and professional manner. * Accounting degree or diploma considered an asset. * Experience with accounting software such as Sage 300, Spire, or Total Service is an asset. * Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. * French language skills are a plus.
