As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely accounting of fuel transactions across all retail locations. You’ll work closely with customers/tenants, store managers, and internal departments to reconcile fuel deliveries, manage inventory records, and resolve discrepancies that impact financial reporting and operational efficiency. Requirements Essential Functions Reconcile daily fuel and store sales with customer reports. Ensure accurate posting of fuel transactions in the accounting system. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in fuel inventory; to include missing or split deliveries, fuel sales adjustments, pump tests, etc. Communicate with tenants to obtain missing documentation or correct sales errors. Calculate customer draft/credit calculations to meet daily and weekly deadlines. Analyze and reconcile credit card and loyalty batch data processed in accounting software, research causes of discrepancies and take action to ensure accounts balance. Collaborate with store managers and district leaders to verify fuel data and resolve operational issues. Provide suggestions for handling unusual or non-recurring transactions. Support general ledger entries and fuel-related financial audits. Maintain organized records of fuel transactions and customer communications. Qualifications: 3+ years accounting experience Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
