The Accounting Clerk plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the hotel. This role assists the Finance team with administrative and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with Makeready standards. Requested Tasks * Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking * Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions * Support daily revenue reconciliation and posting as needed * Assist with payroll coordination and related administrative tasks * Prepare and organize financial reports, records, and files * Reconcile discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues * Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting * Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls * Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information Requested Capabilities  * Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance preferred * Experience in hospitality or hotel accounting a plus * Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively * High level of accuracy and integrity in handling financial information * As part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
