Our organization is looking for a motivated individual with a calling to help adults with mental illness by becoming an Accounting Clerk.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the staff accountant in preparing claim vouchers for Nassau County Contracts.
  • Assist the staff accountant in filing and scanning various documents to support claim vouchers.
  • Entering accounting data into various types of software programs (e.g. Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, pre-formatted worksheets, accounting software, etc.)
  • Assist the staff accountant with various clerical projects (e.g., scanning, filing, mailing of contracts, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by the staff accountant or others accounting department staff.
