Description

MGR Property Management is a large management company in Southern California managing HOAs, residential, and commercial properties. MGR is a family owned and operated business since 1983 with a strong and diverse team reaching from Barstow to San Diego.
We are currently looking to an individual to our Accounting department in the corporate office in Ontario, CA. The ideal candidate would be organized, work well with a team and independently, and have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Accounting is responsible for the successful financial management of their portfolio. This may include, but is not limited :

  • Reviewing files for bad debts and maintaining updated ledgers
  • Dues collection and entering of payment information
  • Scanning checks and banking correspondence
  • Coordinate with property managers and other respective team members for accounting needs of the properties, as needs arise
  • Data entry for COIs, journal entry adjustments, credits/charges, etc.
  • Processing payables for payment upon approval the property managers
  • Maintain receivables and confer with property managers for receipt of payment
  • Reviewing ledgers for late rents and related reports
  • Posting charges and adjusting G/L codes
  • Completing bank reconciliations and reissuing stale dated checks
  • Pay utilities and make adjustments on ledgers to correspond
  • Other duties as needed
